[Mk2] [Turbo] Central Locking problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by gtr2 »

I have done a search for previous threads on this but no obvious answers...

My drivers side door lock will open with a key but will not respond when i use the door card switch #-o passenger side lock is fine and responds when i use the key from the drivers side or the central door locking switch on the drivers door card.

I'v had the panel off and cant see any obvious bits loose or missing :-k any idea's what it can be :-k

Please help

Broken wire would be a good guess :thumleft:

Have a check over the loom on the door, bits in the door joins and the white blocks in either footwell. bu88er to trace. Mine were in drivers door, only found it after I took all the tape off the wires.

As above

Mine went funny too it turned out to be a split wire in the rubber boot that runs between the door and the car
