Had a nice little drive last night in the S2000 with a guy in a BMW Z4.
Was driving along a rural dual carriageway coming up to some lights as they changed to green.
The Z4 in front drove away fairly normally off the lights in the left lane then as he noticed me going to overtake him he appeared to floor it.
I just made it past him and then moved into the left lane.
We were both driving hard along the straight which went uphill slightly and then into a long sweeping bend.
I was doing my best to stay in the v-tec zone.
We were driving for about half a mile or so and it was very close indeed.
I just about stayed in front by about 2-3 car lengths until I noticed my speed was edging over the limit at which point I decided to back off and let him carry on.
He flashed his indicators as he went past.
Was good fun and very close indeed, in fact I'd say it was very much even.
Not exactly sure which variant of Z4 it was though
