Take a trip to Luke at Pacific Works.
£80 is what he charges.

Top work and a great guy.

If you go to any old garage for this they will sting you rotten.

Almost guaranteed the bolts will be rusted on solid so they'll spend extra time (at your expense) drilling them out etc.

I had a turbo & downpipe fitted and ended up paying an absolutely obscene amount of money as it apparently took them 3 sodding days to do it. It really should have been a days work tops.

A agrage will charge by the hour though Rob, if they take a bit longer it's good for them. Or am I paranoid?

I wish I'd done mine myself tbh.

Depends if you have a garage you can trust I suppose.

FWIW I've been quoted £200 to have both my downpipe and ST205 chargecooler fitted which includes the garage fabricating the brackets needed to fit the coolant radiator.

I got quoted £200 to fit the turbo/downpipe and remap the Unichip.

Ended up paying over £500 IIRC ](*,)

If you get quotes for these jobs stipulate before they even start that if it goes over you want to know before they go too far. That bill hurt my finances very very badly.

i did a blitz decat myself the other day (harder as you have to split the cat/elbow too).
my FIRST attempt at something like this and it took me 4 hours. i recon i could of done it nearer to 3 if i had a full downpipe..

It shouldnt take this long unless youre a complete mong, prob 2 maybe 3 hours a lot easier and less time consuming if you got some electric ramps or a pit
