Mine wasn't automatically renewed as in previous years either 
I am still awaiting an answer from them as to whats happened. I enquired about 2 weeks ago but still haven't heard anything.

Just looked into the archived PayPal records.
You cancelled your subscription on the 14th March 2008 which is why your premium membership has not renewed.
You need to set up your account again.14 Mar.
