Exhaust differences between uk and jap spec

Post by keith030458 »

Hi fellas and chapesses
I've got to rereplece the mid section of my exhaust on 3gse engine however I thought that i might be tempted to go stainless as I've seen two manifold plus downpipes for sale on E-bay, problem is one says for jap spec and the other for uk and jap spec, the difference in price is enoughfor me to say yes or no to buying the stainless unit and just go for the normal downpipe . The question is whats the difference between the two apart from the price? Is there a different stud pattern on the jap spec or some other technical reason for the manifold not to fit a uk spec ...help :-k

If you have the 3sGE engine then it will be the same regardless of jap/uk.

If you have the 3sFE engine, this will be different (UK only engine)
