Need Help :(

Post by b4rk3r »

Hey guys. Been out today and noticed something strange, under boost occasionally it doesn't always feel as quick as what it was a few days ago (doesn't give the same kick at about 3.8k) but then sometimes it will be as strong :-k
Another thing is in higher gears just as she's picking up it feels like it's hesitating, only very slightly, but you can feel it.
Now there is a small amount of oil around the turbo so it is leaking a bit, but has been for a good couple of weeks.

It's still showing a steady 13.5 psi, and all the ignition components, bar HT leads were changed about 8k ago ](*,) Does it sound like HT leads or would they not be intermittent?

Any help appreciated :thumleft:

You need to reset the ECU and relearn first mate

If problem still occurs, get your paperclip out and check for fault codes.

Have you been driving on do-do petrol like 95' or something? low octane?

Do this first you can do it all yourself, it is not time consuming and costs nothing.

ah, i haven't tried that yet. I always use tesco 99 or optimax so i don't think it would be that :-k

b4rk3r how did you get one mate?

I have a similar issue. It's only been like it for the last week or so.

If the reset doesn't work i'm thinking ignition components....
