Said it enough times, some things are better kept as fond memories. What's project origin like? I'm resisting the urge the get it friday as you all know i'm focussing all my attention on sorting out the debts. If anyone wants to sell it to me cheap when they're done, lemme know!

I know I'm gonna like it lol. It's the sequel to one of my all time favourite games.

Just wanted YOUR opinion.

You gonna pick up one of the official sticks to go with it Matt? Must admit I'm tempted, even at £150, simply because I loved SF2 more than anything back in the day, and am desperate to get my hands on SF4.

That stick in the link I posted is as close to an official Capcom stick as you'll get for SF4, despite it being made by Mad Catz. Allegedly it's very very good, and not the usual crap you expect from MC.

I wont be getting SF4 lol. Looks dreadful to me.

My comment regarding "I will like it" etc was about Project Origin, which H3RB also mentioned.

You serious mate!!?? It looks great! Just read 2 mag reviews today...both gave it 5/5!

I'll get it but not straight away. Got F.E.A.R 2 waiting for me at home! 8) Wont play it untill 2mo morn though, as stuck up at work untill then.

Read 2 reviews on that also......8/10 in one mag and 4/5 in another. :thumleft:

I'd rather play a quality 2D game that is so last century than modern, up-to-date 3D tat like Resistance2.

Sorry Matt, I forgot you prefer pretty things to stuff that actually plays well ;) ;) ;)

I don't like the way the old street fighters play. It's nothing to do with being pretty, it's a seriously out dated format. I thought games like that had totally died off tbh. You hardly even see 3d fighters these days. Think the last time i enjoyed something like that was Fight Night and that's probably because you don't have to button mash to play it. All the new one seems to be to me is a tarted up version of the old games with nothing new except better graphics.

Street Fighter is one of if not the best fighting games that started it all. I went to Trocadero in London to get a go on the only arcade in UK and there were about 20/30 people there. I waited 20 mins to have a go and got beaten.

I have the HD remix as well its the only game ive been playing recently.

The graphics are different but gameplay should have the same feel as the old SF2.

Matt to say basic beat em ups doont require skill is really naive. Tekken, VF and Street fighter is not all about simple button bashing. Its nearly like saying calling a good player cheap when you cant beat them.
