Them poo strechy ones are for 80bhp town runabouts

not mid engined 250bhp+ cars

Only advantage with the stretchy ones is there easier to fit and you dont have to deal with the balls from hell.

I still had to pull mine apart and deal with the ball of hell.

.

even funnier fitting it back together.

.

.

Bhp on cars has nothing to do with the driveshaft CV boot

! Mine runs 500+ and fitted with stretchys.

.

.

Its just general wear and tear over a period of time.

.

if anything.

.

.

the stretchy ones have a high threshold of elasticity, so should out live the original ones

!!

My original ones been on 16 years

.

.

I'm not complaining

!

Again.

.

dont get me wrong.

.

I'm soo much against fitting copy cat parts to the car

/ engine.

.

.

.

.

anal in fact.

.

.

everything fitted to my car is top end brands.

.

.

.

.

.

but a rubber boot

???!!

No adverse effects other than

( possible

) shorter life span
