Someone should really give them a pre approved script or something so they dont look as stupid.
It's difficult to talk about Nintendo because we don't look at their console as being competitors. They're a different world and we operate in our world that's kind of the way I look at things...
And with the Xbox again, I can't come up with one word to fit. You need a word that describes something that lacks longevity... Last time I checked, they've never had a console that's been on the market for more than four or five years and we've committed to a ten year life cycle, so you do the math...
And unless things go really bad, there's no way that at the end of a life cycle our competition is going to have a higher install base.
he had to check how many consoles MS have had that lasted past the 5 year mark.
they have only had one console. must of taken alot of research.
and "unless things go really bad".
hows the worst xmas in the companies history for bad?

Microsoft have had 2 consoles...
true, the xbox launched in 2001 and was discontinued in 2006.
Have to say, respect to Sony for still making the PS2 and games for it.
MS just stopped the Xbox as soon as the 360 came alone.
I think perhaps thats what they're saying. Not that there wont be a PS4 for 10 years (from when the PS3 was launched) but that the PS3 will have a 10 year lifespan.
Which, correct me if I'm wrong is nearly where the PS2 is? When was it launched?
2000 or 2001 i belive, so its still got a few years to go. i remember seeing games for the mega drive even after the dream cast was launched in 98 though that was suprising then lol

i obviously meant one previous console. if he had to research if they have a console available now then hes even dumber than i thought.
Matty, sony have to keep making games for the PS2 because by the sounds of it its there only profitable venture at the moment.
