Should be fine with a 30mm drop, slightly depends on the offset of the wheels...? Also, how wide are they?

T1-Rs are pretty good with those kind of profiles yeh :thumleft:

On 17s? When you say soft do you mean sidewall or compound? With enough air in them they're considered pretty good tyres.

I prefer F1's myself too, little bit more expensive... However, the new assymetric model is supposed to be sh1te, and that's coming from Tony at WIM.

I had the asymmetric F1s on the back of my old 325 coupe and thought they were pretty good, but I can't compare them to the original eagles as I've never owned a set.

I also am getting some 17s and going to run Toyo T1-Rs (205/40R17) on the front and the PXT4s (225/45R17) on the back, heard good things about them :)

I meant the compound. With mine they didnt last as long as other tyres. They are very grippy, possibly more so than the f1's but with the extra grip comes extra wear. It depends on what you are after, the toyos will possibly grip better, but having said that you probably wont notice it unless you are on a trackday or really pushing it. I only went for the f1s for cost. Not sure about the asymetric model whats this? :D

They are discontinuing the existing F1s and replacing with a new assymetric model which has poor performance, or so I am reliably informed.

I was recommended to go with T1-Rs now because of this. I do so few miles that I don't need to worry for a while...
