found a nut on my driveway anyone know what it could be off?

Post by craig »

longshot I know :-k

Reversed the car off my drive and found a solitary nut:

Don't know what it's off, found directly under my car. I have put a 5p coin next to it for size.
Thanks for any suggestions. I'm pretty worried about what is under my car without a nut
:(

Thanks for any help.

It's the one that holds the chassis together, and stops your brakes and steering from working

Actually, it looks like the nut on the front ARB bushes

I will have a look at the ARB bushes on the rear, the nut could have fallen off and rolled into the middle underneath of the car. :-k

lol, I'll check it tomorrow.

Is there just one nut either side where the bushes are at the rear?

Are the front nuts the same? One either side of the bush?

Thanks Johnny

Other thing as well, my car has a 22mm TRD antiroll bar at the rear and has black rubber bushes.

I didn't think you could get stock bushes for the TRD bars, only poly bushes :-k

Just been out to the car in the rain.

Both rear ARB bush clamp bolts are there, the fronts I doubt I'll be able to see without jacking the car up. :(

The nuts on the front & rear look the same, but they're different part numbers so probably slightly different.

There's only one nut per bush (plus a bolt holding the other end of the bracket).

If I jack the car up and have a look at the bushes at the front and they're both present what the hell could it be? :-k

Two similar nuts on where the front strut rod meets the lower arm - can't remember size though.

And OEM Toyota droplink nuts - although these only tend to come off with an angle grinder

From an undertray as it's quite small...?

I think undertray seems most likely. I'll jack the car up this weekend and have a scan :thumleft:
