[Mk2] [Turbo] Keep stock exhaust with on moded tubby

Post by kevinTurboFR »

i have a little question :

actually on my gen3 i keep my standard exhaust because i dont want to make to much noise, but, what should be the difference with an aftermarket exhaust ?

actually i have on my car:

Mine's ecu
greddy profec b, 1.2b
berk tech decat
aftermarket intercooler (look like an xs power)
apexi power intake

i says that because with my previous mk4 supra, i was unable to go up to 1b with the stock exhaust and no problem for 1.2b with an homemade exhaust, but with the mr2 i can already go up to 1.2b. there will be a big difference (power, torque) with a mongoose or any other?

thanks

I think you may be better of with say a fujitsubo legalis R. Volume is quiet whilst maintaing excellent flow.

I put a blue flame on with a gen 1 berk dp and it was ridiculously loud but WOW what a difference in performance. Since spoke to blue flame who say they can supply an exhaust thats no louder than OE exhaust but with all the preformance gains. thats where i`ll be going next unless i can get a Hks silent power fo less than £300.
