Here you go, congratualtions you now own one of the most expensive mk1's in the world (I think top 5 in the uk) :thumleft:

And find out what goodies are in that engine!

Just as a warning be careful with the car, I went to look at it when it was for sale on ebay by that bloke in sittingbourne, and I think the MOT may not be legitimate.

Check the MOT on here http://www.motinfo.gov.uk/

Wow i cant believe the car looked that good in the past! I thought it was quick on the way home, now it makes sence! I was abit aprehensive about the bloke too, thanks for the heads up about the mot i will get that checked out. There didnt seem to be any real problems with the car, it got me home 350 miles. Looks like a got a proper bargin!

That's a great website, I've just found out a whole host of stuff about my car I never knew! Seems it hasn't escaped the dreaded tinworm as much as I thought...

Congrats on your purchase though, got any pics of it now? And any plans for it?

I dont have any pics of it since i bought it, i will take some in the next few days after i have cleaned it from the drive! First call will be to fix the accident damage :( for those that didnt see the advert the car has been reversed into and was written off by the insurance company. Then i intend to make the car back to what it used to be with a few alterations. I plan a revamp of the sound system, lowering springs and a few changes to the interior.

The car already has lowering springs :thumleft:

The colour is custom and is ferrari yellow (IIRC), the side strips are a custom colour too, speak to crazylegs on here as he should be able to get some made up.

According to the link you attached earlier it has koni adjustable shocks on standard springs. I am a regular customer in a local paint shop so i should be able to get that sorted, i am toying with the idea of removing the side strips and alot of the decals to go for a smother look.

Teach me for not reading it

Good luck with it :thumleft: make sure you get the front boot sorted quickly, from what I remember the clutch master cylinder was missing the lid and there was brake fluid stripping the paint in there
