headlight assembley needs removing, so you can get to the nuts on the inside of the wing. i used a long reaching socket, and trust me those bolts(2 on each wing) are a b1tch!!!lol

I never removed the headlights assembly when I removed the bumper :?

Wing liner off, car jacked up with full lock on, reach down the inside of the wing with a socket.

I've done both and tbh it's swings and roundabouts. The arch liner route arguably takes longer as there's more holding it on. Lights out is dead easy but you have to do panel alignment on the tops afterwards.

There's a decent step by step picture guide somewhere, the search function is your friend :thumleft:

I kinda did neither ............ :-s lol, did this today and i removed the outer headlamp surround and top cover, also removed the under tray but not the arch liner. Did the lower bolt from underneath with a ratchet/extension combo, then other bolt from the top with a ratchet/extension combo again. Took a while though as was only enough room to move it one click of the ratchet at a time lol.

That top nut is a right mare.

I've given up today (was also trying to remove my front bumper).
