I'm off to Rockingham with Book A track on Sunday

Was fun, they totally changed the track though, more suitable for big power, high geared stuff though.

Main straight I was hitting the rev limiter in 5th about 3 seconds before the 1st brake board,

(I could maintain the same speed

~ 140mph untill the 2nd brake board before standing on the brakes).

Good day on the whole, took a Monaro 5.7 HSV owner out and I think he was impressed and a Honda Type R engined Elise owner, he was impressed with the turbo 5

(contemplating trading down to one) but I was far more impressed with the honda Elise, its my new

"want" car.

It went as well as the Fireblade 99.9% carbon westfield that was my previous

"want" car but had a body and windows and roof.

Amazing!

Amazing!

Had to say it again, makes every other car i've ever been on track in thats had a

"body" look xxxx.

Stock Elise

= bit dull, slower than my mx5, Honda Type R Elise

= best performance track car there is i've experienced so far.

I did some xxxx driving at the beginning though, took my passenger to tell me how i was getting the lines so wrong, span twice with him in the car

(both spins of the day

)

Made me realise how you forget what your told sometimes, 5 years since my last lesson but I've always driven familar tracks, this one being new,.

.

dreadful.

Passenger was an experienced driver and acted like an instructor,.

.

embarrasing,, but made me take stock.
