I’ll be there!

Mod’s please don’t move this to the event section till Sunday, Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease! Most MK1 owners don’t stray outside of the MK1 forum and so aren’t aware of the events section. Cheers

All the more reason for them to go outside the section.

The post will stay. It is a Mk1 club event, it is in the Mk1 club section. The Mk1 club mods have starting allowing these through.

At the top of the Mk1 club section is an events sticky. (admittedly I've not updated it in a while, but the info is definitely there!!!)
In there, close to the top is the section "Mk1 Club Regular Local Meets". This has details of the monthly meets as well as a Google maps link of the location. Click here

Absolutley, you're quite right but you'd be surprised how often that is the case :?

To be honest, leaving this post here just this once would be really helpful :) We're trying to drum up new attendance in the North West area as it declined to practically zip over the past 18 months but is now starting to kick back into life with the last few half decent meets we've had! :thumleft:

Hope to see everyone on sunday maybe a bit late as have to work sunday morning.

Good turn out last month five NW members and one SW member

Colour score in the carpark was a draw two red and two black
Also a draw in that there were two MK1a,s and two MK1b,s

Weather looks 100% better than last month so hopefully will get more in there MK1,s

Safe motoring

So what your saying is IMOC members who own a mk1 arn't welcome?

This is not the mk1 site, its IMOC, and the MK1 section of IMOC.

Looks like another identity crisis discussion brewing here!

Luckily this wont be an issue soon!

If Bill doesnt mind, I shall summise, ANYONE THAT OWNS A MK1 AND IS NORTH-WEST BASED IS WELCOME AT THE MEETING.

Location and time below.

Hope that has cleared things up.

Ummm, with all due respect guys, but surely this is more of an open event than just for people that own a Mk1...? It should be open for anyone with an interest in Mk1s... owners or not IMO! (I went to a couple of meets before I bought my first Mk1, and if it wasn't for those, I probably never would have bought one)

Good point Max.

Ok, lets try again.

IF YOU OWN A MK1/WOULD LIKE TO OWN A MK1/ONCE KNEW A FRIEND THAT HAD A MK1/ONCE SAW A MK1 ON THE ROAD/OR INDEED JUST FANCY A PINT IN THE PUB.

Then you are welcome at this meet!

Indeed. You don't have to be a MK1 member to attend. Obviously we would like you to join at some point. We would like some MK1 members to attend as well as non MK1 members. Hell, even Wayne might turn up one day! :oldtongue:

...come on everybody - come along - you really can't be that busy on a December afternoon - the alternative is staying in and doing what your wife/girlfriend/lover wants so hop in the 2, blat it down the Motorway and come and have a pint: do something you want to do!
