What's your reason to feel great today?

Post by MRTWO »

some might remember my What's your reason to feel crap today? topic where my MR2 blew its head gasket

well, thats all fixed now, although after the fix the coolant system puked its guts into my frunk due to a worn hose, but that was soon fixed and today was my first chance to take it for a good drive in the countryside to check it out.

to say it brought a smile to my face again is a gross understatement. I'm sure several cars driving in the opposite direction could hear me loudly shreiking "Wahooo!"

My windscreen exploded at 80mph on the motorway ... which gave me a reason to kick my windscreen out! Life couldnt get any better.

Driving home in -1 degree temps was interesting!

continuing the theme of feeling great today...

my Mk1 passed its MOT again today at Toyota after they fixed a single failure item which was the "offside headlight aim too high [1.6]" (no idea what 1.6 means)

also a single advisory of one wiper blade starting to split but I already have a spare new Bosch set so no worries there

very happy :D

congrats. Unfortunately I am stuck at work today so not great for me. :(
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

I DROVE MINE TODAY!!!

Some of you might think why feel good about that - I haven't driven it since November as it had brake issues.

It feels so good to have it back, I missed the acceleration!
