imtrying to fit my rev2 turbo engine back in but im having problems with the passanger side engine mount(the 1 under the air filter) every time i lift the engine up it turns on the p1$$ why????? ive got the drivers side in (the 2 bolt 1) is there a how to do this because its starting to p**S me OFF

you are lifting it up with hoist or jacking up on pallet?
how exactly is it not lining up? you are getting the bolt holes high enough but they are going either forward or backwards of their intended position?
you got a big crow bar or someone to help you?

I had the same issue with mine just persevere with it

I had a jack under the front of the engine by the bulkhead to twist the engine over whilst i lifted it ,i think its just the angle the engine lifts at
I think i also fitted it to the engine first :-k

If you've got a hoist, support the engine, get a chain or what ever you're using to lift with and wrap that round the gearbox and lift it from there.

It really shouldn't be that much of a problem either way. Just give it some damn good wiggling and lifting and it will eventually slot into place.
