Re: northwest meeting
Also think I can make this!
Re: northwest meeting
I'll see what I can do - in Ashbourne for a meeting so will depend what time that finishes
Update.....
Thanks to all who turned up. We are achieving reasonable numbers despite the evenings drawing in and the weather 'Up North' not being the friendliest in the world. It is however reasonably predictable weather, i.e. rain, rain a bit more rain and if you are lucky maybe a bit of lighter rain.
7 cars in all, 6 Mk1's and an MX hairdesser. A good mix as well, 2 black MK1a, 1 Supercharger, and 3 Mk1b. From left to right in the below photographs we have Jon (j0nathan), Stuart (Stuart Cameron), Bill (Bill Hulme), Kirst (Kirsty) with Dave (Flatpack), Dave (BBurn13), James (JimboJet) and Barry (erm... errr. sorry forgotten your username) and son Richard:
The next meet will be the last of the Thursday evening meets. From November onwards we will revert to the afternoon of the second Sunday of the month.
I will be updating the MK1 club with an area report and a Tatton report as soon as I can. Somehow I'll fit these in between my DIY commitments (please don't ask - I'll bore you to sleep - insomniacs need not apply!).
As a reminder: this post here ->>>>> http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=100604
...provides dates and times for current and future meets.
Please remember, all MK1 members or prospective members are welcome. You don't even have to turn up in your 2 though it's always nicer to see a few of our cars in the car park.
Thanks again to all who turned out and glad to see you all avoided getting 'pulled' by the very nice Mr Plod at the bottom of the road.
