[Mk2] [Turbo] what does the engine warning light look like ?

, I was checking for code errors , and apparently if the engine warning light continuesly flashes when you put the ignition on then everything's ok is that right ? , but what does the symbol look like is it the on the right of the dash or the left , all I'm getting is the yellow indicator lamp thats flashing continuesly.

it doesn't say what the engine light is , are you saying the engine light is the yellow malfunction light in top left hand corner of the dash?
