Sounds like an eventful trip!
I must join you all next year. Its a race i have wanted to go to for a long time!!!

Okay, time for my pics...
Back to the Chateau Cantaloupe for another year!
Some pics from the museum:
Some nutter in a Fiat doing burnouts on the Porsche Curves, got no idea who this was at all...
Down at the circuit for qualifying:
Jo begged Chris to give her some of his sausage whilst Heath and Sam watched:
Pete about to get a taste of his own medicine:
Some of the cars in the Mad Friday car show at the chateau:
In the show itself, Mark tries to run off with a small child:
And a couple of uninvited interlopers:
Apparently this was the Car Of The Show though:
Some shots from the race:
From up on the big wheel:
Back at the campsite, time to chill out:
Spotted flying around before landing on the gazebo :
So that was that. More can be found if you click here for the directory listing. Too lazy to make a proper page for them If anyone who went wants a CD of all my shots in full-size (got hundreds more!), shoot me a PM with your address and I'll pop it in the post.
Just before I leave it there, I must say that there was some people there with bigger tents than others, some big enough to hold a party in!
The bed was comfy as well... ...so comfy in fact, you could easily fall asleep on it
lol, bonnét de douche eh?
Just got the following email "You are invited to take part in the Innkeeper's Lodge Guest Experience Survey". Filling out that survey was quite amusing, I think I'll get a phonecall from them shortly..
IMOC-UK - the only club to win 'Best Club Stand' at JAE more than once, and twice in a row!
Gotta be the saying of the week surely?
I'll sort out somewhere to upload my pics shortly. Dan - some top pics there, very arty with the blurred light streaks and stuff - all that faffing with the camera did pay off in the end!!
ps why on earth were you up and posting at 7.16am yesterday you crazy nutter
pps - how great was it to not get woken up by snoring or the poxy birds this morning and then to have a proper hot shower
Did you not know that Chris is the Energiser Bunny? I swear he has more energy in him than anyone I know!
I actually had to turn my shower down this morning as it was too hot for me, far too used to freezing cold showers now
what a cracking week away, lots of very nice people and a great atmosphere
Just got back today after our little trip to Paris, lovely place really, very clean i thoought. The Eiffel tower wasclosed for a refurb though so that will have to wait till next year!
Spent all today cleaning the car to within an inch of its life as a big thankyou to it for driving me allover france
All i need now is for someone to buy it so i can buy my TVr for next year
ki
You can't possibly sell the car now, not after it's been through so much and been so naked in the middle of a field in a foreign country!
Glad you enjoyed Paris, shame about the tower though
To be honest i think the car will struggle to sell with the market how it is and i am not bothered if it takes a long while as i will not let it go for too little. I will have my TVR though!!......eventually
Just before I leave it there, I must say that there was some people there with bigger tents than others, some big enough to hold a party in!
The bed was comfy as well... ...so comfy in fact, you could easily fall asleep on it [/quote]

looked like a good party though Shame I wasn't invited though
Just back, 1642 mile round trip. Purely thrilling event, there's something really special about Le Mans.
Planning has already started for 2010 and they will be a few changes.
Good to see friends again and some new faces, hope to see you all next year.
Just found the Benoit Treluyer web site (Peugeot No: 17?) after writing off the car and being taken to the medical centre, he was released 2 hours later unharmed
Here's a useless snippet of info for you, turns out Marc Gené, one of the drivers of the winning Peugeot team, is an alumnus of Buckingham University where I work!
