[Mk2] [Turbo] Oil temp sensor location - not sandwich plate or sump

But sump lug is quite low, near the ground. I'm afraid it could be damaged over bumps or with a stone or something.

And about a pressure sensor. Is it bad if I put it in a sandwitch plate?

It is not bad. But there is an argument that suggests it is better to measure oil pressure at the top of the engine, furthest away from the pump.

Plenty of people run sensors in there :thumleft:

I know that you in UK have a good roads, but not in Lithuania :lol:
But as I am planning that my 2 will be only for track and weekends, maybe it's a good idea, thanks.

They're better than most others I've driven on, bar France and Germany. Certainly better than Italy, USA and Malaysia
