Just gave them a ring and theyre nearly £400 cheaper than my existing insurers renewal offer :-)

Tell a lie, it was £219.
That also includes breakdown cover.
How does this company make money??

Had a look round and the only negative thing I can see about them is that "they dont operate a NCB system" so if you move to another insurer at a later date your in danger of losing any built up NCB. I'm going to check this before I take out the policy though as I belive you can "park" your NCB with them when you take out insurance so this doesnt happen.

yes, it will mainly benefit the drivers who have their Mr2 as a second, weekend car.
They didnt even ask me if i had any NCB, it matters little. The main thing they wanted to know if how long ive been driving.

NCB seems a bit of a twoddle though anyway, a friend of mine regularly gets cheaper quotes on similar cars, even though i have 11 years, he has 1.

Well Ive just renewed with them and whilst I was on got a quote for the TRD which came out as £467.50 compared with A-Plans £600
