That corresponds with alot of recipts for work done in 2002 at 91k new timing belt calipers etc :mrgreen:

I found nothing later than that but the tax disc in the window says 03 something :lol:

Great find. I personally think this is the best colour for them, it takes 10 years off the shape!

Looks a good enough honest example - Well doneon the purchase.
Have to say though its the first mk1 i have seen in that colour.

Am I being dumb / blind or is it not the same colour as Ollie's MK1.5?

Yup, it is. He sprayed his the factory metallic grey colour after the conversion I believe.

Yes, my 1.5 was a UK spec car originally, in gunmetal grey.. such a good colour I had the full respray in exactly the same colour.. some people dont get it.. why spend £££ getting car painted grey... ?! I get it, hopefully you guys get it too :) It really is the best mk1 colour in my opinion, even better than two tone white over silver :wink:
