A mate wanted to buy one a fair while ago, he had it for a day and let me drive it, gotta agree, so dull and really not that quick at all, almost like it would tut and disagree with you if you tried to give it some beef.

Boring.

Perhaps it's an age thing with me, but towards the end of my tubby ownership all the things that made it fun to drive ended up irritating me.
The massive spool noise from the turbo right in your earhole, the savage way the power is delivered, the shocking economy, the bumps, the rattles and squeeks.

Sadly I could quite see myself in a "dull" TT in the future.

lol to be honest mate I know what you mean

There are days that I just want to get in a car, drive to the supermarket or whatever and not have my teeth fall out due to pot holes, ear drums shot from the exhaust/turbo spool and to accelerate normally without having the dump valve/bov/turbo spool.

I sometimes take my missus car, its like driving while sat on the sofa in comparison, basically I need a run around which I am working on but I will be upgrading the MR2 for the weekends as I still love it.

I know that if I sold it I would miss those things quite alot.

I guess this is why alot of people go for Subaru Impreza Turbos/Evos etc.

Not bad but for £10,500 I think i'd rather have an S15 by a mile and a half.

That big turbo one looks like a dogs dinner to me.
