Chris - I havent actually bothered to do anything about it yet lol but I have got some bolts, just the hassle of jacking the car up and then seeing how long they need to be, cutting them down etc lol

I usually get just over 200 miles from a 30 quid tank - and thats mostly country roads with a fairly heavy right foot. Never really worked out the mpg... suffice to say its better than the 1600 zetec escort I had before!

17Mpg on track, where I really was revving the car as hard as possible.

Thats good, I get about 12mpg during a race

To be fair, that included a bit of a cruise home as well before I filled up, so it was probably a bit lower than that on track, not that it matters!

True, I only know mine as I zero the trip meter before the race and use around 10Ltrs of fuel during 15 min race

every mk1 one i have owned ,and its a few, has given me mid 30 mpg. any less than 30 and you should be thinking why. even at 90 on the motorway i get 30 ish.
