sorry for crashing into everyone! only played it for about 2 weeks hehe.

I was impressed with your "don't set off when the lights go green move" - I thought it was a lag on the connection and expected your car to jump forwards, then I hit you :)

Lots of fun.

hahaha, i was too busy typing "i'll let u guys go first, i'll only spin and make a pile up" - in the lines of anyway!

Wednesday Races :

imoc_5.mpr
imoc_5_2.mpr
imoc_5_3.mpr
imoc_5_4.mpr
imoc_5_5.mpr
imoc_5_6.mpr

imoc_5_6.mpr is the incident one - think it was a racing incident, I picked to go left, your tankslapper then pushed you left... (7:05 onwards).

I've modified the server to line the start grid in finishing order as opposed to reverse finish order, this should help clean up the starts.

I looked at the replay of 'the incident' and it clears my name completely of any intentional foul play :) - now the second collision we had which then involved Vashy...

I'm going to try and get some practice in before Wednesday and work on my setup a little to allow me to actually hit some of the apex's rather than oversteer past them.

Do people know that the 200SX owners club have a LFS race team linked in with their official uk owners club! We need to put together a team of drivers to take them on at some point. If your reading this and can do a lightspeed laptime then now is the time to come from the shadows.

How did Goto10 manage to post video clips??? Answers on a post card...

Is there a standalone viewer for these .mpr files or will I have to look at them on the PC with the game installed?

AFIK you have to use the game.

Just fire up Live For Speed and on the main menu click on 'Multiplayer Replay'
Then select the replay you wish to view.

When you download the MPR files save them in LIVE FOR SPEED>DATA>MPR folder

If you look in the profile for the SXOC LFS profile there is this message :- 'Beware, most of us own more powerful cars in real life :)'

I then checked their online laptimes and I think were in with a chance if we challenge them ;) (especially if i dont take out speedy whilst having my own technical dificulties i.e. running out of talent)

Vashy if you want a crash then do you mind not intruding on mine and Speedys pile-ups :P
Its great to barrel round a corner only to find the local destruction derby taking place on the staight - SORRY

Bear in mind that I only got S1 a couple of weeks ago, and I haven't really played with the other cars yet - so I'm much better with the GT than the GTT, or any of the S1 cars (although I have unlocked them all).

All you have to do to beat the SXOC is to have an FXO race! I think they're a cool car and have a brilliant set for one that does 1.27s if anybody sees me online and wants it give me a shout!

Why do they insist on putting all the good TV progs on when it's LFS night?

Possibly but it now means I either have to:

1. Get a life

2. Play LFS and miss TV

3. Watch TV and miss LFS

4. Get Sky+ and have my wallet raped

Tools of the devil I tells you. My mammy used to say that if I ever recorder anything on one of those god forsaken things my winky would fall off.
