ive had my 2 for 4 years now and i want to change the cambelt and pullies as i dont know when they were done last :roll: ..... other than the standard parts what and where can i get the upgraded parts....Dont really want to go down the ebay route [-X on this
its for my early 3sge engine
Any help and advice would be great

I got a cambelt kit from Rogue when I originally bought mine -though I tend to do the cam belt as soon as I buy a car if it's over the original interval. You can probably get cheaper if you start digging from camskill or some of the other specialists.

I had our mechanic at work help us at the time (well I really helped him) -book time for a rev 2 was I think was 4.5h and it took us just a bit less if I recall though that was a few years ago now.

I stick with genuine toyota parts for this sort of thing. The cost of the belt won't actually be that bad.

There's also a guide to doing it in the knowledge base if that's helpful.

Bought all the bits to do my tubby from Camskill, about £80 for the belt, idler and tensioner.
