Which gold paint

Post by Tiger Tim »

Just tidying up the engine bay at the moment. Some of the nuts/bolts/brackets were (definitely a long time ago) a sort of gold colour. Is there any aerosol paint that’s similar.

Thanks,

Tim

The original coating is a zinc based. I'm not sure there's anything that can be sprayed on although Frost do this kit....

Might be cheaper to buy new bolts from Mr T though!!!

Or do them in Gold Hammerite for the budget option. I did my Mk1's throttle linkage and the Panda's brake calipers in the stuff and the colour is not that different - a bit lighter though.
