ive just fitted a set of the lesjofors springs, the second set ive fitted as they are a very compliant road spring. they dont lower too much either giving decent ground clearance and they arnt too stiff so ride quite well yet still handle well round the bends.
they do seem to lower slightly more at the rear than the front though. the red car with th 15's has had them on for about a year, and the other car has only had them on a day or 2 so not settled yet but gives you an idea.

Seem a little expensive but you should get away with -35mm on 16's if you have low profile tyres.

I wouldnt reommend lowering a car on old standard shocks, the shocks wont last long under the extra load.

cool ta for the replies,

I did contact Lesjofor Uk for dealers, they suggested GSF - great suggestion guys as GSF places don't even list toyota parts or seem that interested in supplying parts for toyotas!

Don't wear a cap while driving Chris, my old coupe had KYBs with 35mm drop Sachs Boge springs and I used to smack my head on the sunroof surround over bumps. I ended up with an imprint of the little button ontop of the cap in my skull.

Great fun to drive because it was literally gokart handling but it was also gokart ride.

i got mine from here...

https://sslrelay.com/buypartsby.co.uk/l ... cordID=772

and id say they lower more like 25mm than 35mm but that obviously against 20 year old standard springs.

 I found that Whiteline springs mixed well with KYBs Chris, I'd guess that the Lesjofors would be ok too as they are a softer spring.

Only issue is that the Whitelines were £155 for the set from Demon Tweeks so may be out of your price range. :-k

Well, if they make them over there and/or shipping doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Ground Controls are about as good as they get. There more like coilover then normal springs. Dunno what there called in the UK.

Its what I'm getting for my two. They are a bit pricey over here though at $400/set.

Do you have any more info on these?

Edit:
No worries, found all I needed to know here:
http://www.ground-control-store.com/pro ... =628/CA=18

It seems this might be Eibach product distributed in the states by Ground Control. I wonder if there's a UK supplier?

Does anyone have any experience with these?

Well, I don't have any personal experience..... yet  .

But everywhere I have read, GC are one of the best. GC and Koni Yellows are about as good as it gets before going to a full Coilover Kit.

But there is also some great combination of other springs/shocks out there. MR2OC.com is a great place to start.

Hi,

My car with trd springs. Pressure in the front tire is quite low!

Image

It's works perfectly with illuminas, but I want to go lower. I don't really want to use coilover. So I'd like to buy a spring which lowers more than this one. I know I'm crazy, but I want it :D.

So as I read in an other topic b+g lowers quite much. Are there any other lowering spring on the market which lowers like that? As I know I could buy from fensport or the apex. But both of them lowering less than b+g? Are there any other solution?

This is my old track car which was dropped 35mm on Pi Springs. It also had KYB shocks to help cope, but be warned that it caught nearly every speed bump and the ride was extrememly harsh.

Image

This is my current track car with Tokico adjustable shocks and -30mm springs. I think they're Fensport springs, but can't remember right now and don't have access to my PC with the info on... The ride is much nicer and the underside of the car doesn't catch speed dumps any more :thumleft:

Thanks a lot.

Could somebody who has fensport springs make a photo, from the same view as mine.

the product itself has nothing to do with Eibach, it just uses Eibach springs. it is made by Ground Control, sold in the USA, and as far as i know there are no distributors or dealers in the UK. it works out cheapest just to buy the sets direct from GC in the US.

the only products Eibach themselves do for the AW11 are their Pro Kit lowering springs (which in terms of lowering springs only are probably the best set on the market), and an alignment kit (which is just eccentric camber bolts).

Does anyone have experience of GC's over here??

Or of any reviews on the AW11 setup.

There were a number of the cheap GC coilover copies being used around, I think the info was on 2brutal.

Have a look in your Demon Tweeks motorsport catalogue they have similar sleeving systems for sale at about £40 a corner.
