I dunno 10K seems reasonable to me....hell of a lot more car than an 09 fiesta for the same money.....it will be worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.

How it is more car? £10k is alot for a 80s car. a 09 fiesta will be better is almost every way I should imagine.

i think there was one around a while ago with even less mileage! in the hundreds IIRC

That was advertised at a similar price, don't know what it went for in the end.

I'm sure they featured one in MR2 Only - it had only a few hundred miles and even the original protective paper for the floor!

It'd be wicked if MK2 came along like that...!

Dont mean to put the MR2 down or anything but why buy one and keep it locked up in a garage and hardly use it? Fair enough if it was a Rare Ferrari or Lambo etc but a MR2?

Nice car, but 10k.. I expect the only people interested in it would be collectors.

There was a Helios Blue Mk1 that had done 35 miles, delivery miles basically.
It had been sat in a Toyota deale in Sheffield all its life. Sold for 12k back in early 2007 I believe.

There's no way you could drive either of them though. Just a collector's, or a VERY big enthusiast's car IMO.

Lovely, why dont i ever find cars like this??
Worth 10k any day, try buying a mk1 and restoring it to this condition and you'll be looking at the same sort of bill!

Yeah it's only got 123K more miles on! :)
You can't really compare the two to be fair, though a one owner nice nick car it is.

Heh, mine was a one owner MK1 when I got it, with 114,000 miles on it. Lovely nick, and a MK1b in Grey. I got it for £1,600 which rates as the best money I've ever spent on a car.
They are still out there, you just have to look hard and be lucky!
I'm sure there are people out there who would want to re-live their youth, and to whom 10K is reasonable for a mint car. I'd still be checking for rust though!
