Just curious as to what bits are swapped when converting to rev 3
as ive got a spares car with some rev 3 bits on

Ive found a receipt to say that the ecu had been re pinned,and rewired
(not got it though)
The map sensor is from the rev 3, and obviously the head and distributor
what else would need replacing?
Main reason of asking is that i dont try and use the bits on my rev 2

You'll need Rev3 or ST205:

Ignitor
Map sensor

Mat Sensor

4 Wire O2 sensor

Fuel pressure Regualtor

540cc injectors

Ive done this on my 3SGTE Mk1 and its a great swap, its much better if your using a power fc or other EMS as the difference in VE between the rev2 and rev3 engines can caause problems.

I need an o2 sensor and a map sensor, didnt know the fpr was different but I guess an adjustable one would do if I went with a pfc.

Anyone want to sell me a rev3 map sensor, fpr and o2 sensor! :mrgreen:

if you plan to go to ems, i dont think a fpr is needed, or the o2 sensor...
afaik anyway, a rev1/2 has more base pressure, and can actually provide more fuel than a rev3+ one which can only be a good thing..

fpr
rev1/2 40-45psi
rev3 35psi...

you also need to do something about replacing the afm with either a custom kit, or a rev3+ kit.
