I enjoy watching the cars racing but it does seem a shame that sometimes even with a slight knock, they are being disposed of

I think thats a bit of a sweeping statement, Sarah Wherry (#23) has had a few incidents this year, including some heavy damage and not reshelled.
I reshelled mine earlier this year after being collected, yes it could have been repaired but needed all front end panels, 2 doors and a rear quarter panel, it took longer to build a new shell, but was more cost effective than buying the panels piecemeal.
Only one other driver springs to mind of reshelling this year in the MR2 Racing series and that was after a big off at Cadwell.
Another car will be reshelled this winter after a roll at Brands.

I see where you are coming from, while the cars are inexpensive to purchase it makes the decision to reshell easier, doesn't make us dispose of cars after a "slight knock" though.

When the £250 cars dry up and suddenly they are £2500 then things will change, people will repair rather than replace.

Well people it went for £132!

I think someone got a bargain if and it's a big if it isn't to rotten under it and the milage is genuine. I really hope this one dosen't end up being broken like so many others.
