ok, been under the rev5 turbo and found some cool bits! PHOENIX POWER PLAQUE!

Post by jimGTS »

ok purchased some awsome car ramps, can take 9.5inch tyres, but is 11.5inch wide! and from what i can see, will easy take 11inch wheels!
can also take 5.5tons!!! pricey at £85, but the only thing i would trust, as not keen on those crappy £40 halfords 7inch wide metal ones!

REALLY should have bought these years ago! i feel so much more comfortable working under the car now....lightweight, lots of grip, quality!

anyway....

from what i saw, a few random bolts that seem to show the sump has been taken off. few clips/clamps around the inlet manifold to indicate the manifold had been off to.

i also found a PHOENIX POWER plaque on the apexi turbo kit downpipe...
im asuming the downpipe is custom made by phoenix power.
plaque read
"phoenix's power
sw20-345-009"

unfortunatly there was no way of taking a pic of this.

can any confirm or comment on these pics ive taken this evening.....

well there's blue pads with CCR written on there to, and grooved discs. Tho didn't think to take a pic of these, doh!
Maybe same make I guess as the lines.

Tho I plan to change these to my CRN zinc(?) coated groove discs and redstuff pads. Taken off my rev2.

How would I know if I have abs? The cars a GT but have heard abs isn't great? As I wanted to fit a brake booster support in the frunk, heard they won't fit with abs.

can you get the neovas easily in the UK?
I have them on my recent import and really like them!

Also Jim, would you get a low MR2 up those ramps?

well mine is slammed, but stock bodywork, so hard to say if you got spats or an aftermarket lower rear bumper.

Up front, highly dout it if lowered and stock bumper, let alone any aftrermarket front bumpers.
