No, thats a quad exit exhaust pipe, im assuming thats what he means by " aftermarket muffler " quite a nice one actually

I often scan the US eBay for mk1s and came across this one the other day as well.

The exhaust is a quad system which they sell in the US made from MS

Looked like it'd had a respray, the paint in the close up looked rather 'orange peely'.... Nice car though.
