Thants what i was thinking Stu , it looks like it was meant to be fitted to the inside of a wheel though, so dont think its been hashed together.

ive seen something like this before. When ive been skipping through eBay USA, i think i remember seeing a couple of '2s on there with this in.

I've seen a few of these on ebay in the last few months
sometimes the same seller is selling a space saver wheel like that and so I assumed the two go together, but from that description it sounds like it fits the original spare tyre/wheel
