cost him $12000 to convert to electric iirc.

That poor MR2, we should club together, buy it, and convert it back.

50mph top speed. Bet you can hear it weeping in the garage. :(

Proably safer though, with all that weight in the boot, any more than 50 and the front tyres might lift off. :lol:

A sobering lesson for those wanting to convert their MR2's to leccy power there.
50mph and sub 30 mile range from a $10k+ spend.

I'll keep burning petrol for now I think!

I think this one posted a couple of weeks ago looks like a better conversion and judging by the number of batteries, probably a bit more range too
Unless I'm very much mistaken...
