I've had three N/A's and one turbo. The fun with the turbo was definately a straight line affair, can't deny that, but when it comes down to backroads you'll get just as much fun out of an N/A
(and save a third on fuel!).
If I'm honest, I fancied a REV2 turbo this time around but because I decided against the higher running costs I could still afford a REV3 N/A.
With an aftermarket exhaust and air filter on, as previously mentioned, you feel like your driving something a lot faster.
Only bad thing with N/A's is that you have to swallow your pride when it comes to chav's in Imprezzas![]()

You could always get an N/A, drop a 3VZ-FE 3 litre V6 in it and have the best of both worlds.![]()

turbos are great but with an n/a you seem to be able to push it more cos you kinda know where you are with it power wise, nothings gonna spin up n send you into a nearby field mid corner lol
N/A 3S GE engines are bombproof cant say the same about my 3S GTE currently in 3S service centre.![]()

Oh yeah one more thing:
Anyone noticed that rogue's track cars in the MR2 challange are all N/A's?
i think the turbos would suffer from heat/cooling related problems if they were kept on track for any serious length of time

It's all about the regulations for the series rather than anything else, ie NAs only.
