[Mk2] [Turbo] Ebay bolt kits?

Got a load of bits polished up and after hearing about how hard it is to torque the rocker cover up and them leaking if not done write using the cover philips screw head bolts.

are these any good anyone else got them?

you only have to do the rocker screws hand tight.

you haven't got a rev1 or rev2 mate,toyota used different bolts,rev3 on.tis indeed a problem on earlier revs.paul.

what do you mean by "hand tight" you dont want to graunch them or you will strip the head.

you need to give them a nice firm tghten

i got a set a few weeks back when did my rocker cover gasket. they definantly worth it mate. think the only kit you get is available from kelsport who i recommend. you do only need to do them handtight as you can damage the bolt and even crack the rocker cover

I had a set.I got rid after 2weeks. You couldn't tighten the bolts enough. I brought new ones from toyota. There great

You have a Rev 3 see note further up thread by ancient mariner. :whistle:

Why would I think you would put a Rev 2 head on a Rev 3. #-o

Its not obvious in your photos its a Rev 2 head and doesnt say anywhere its is. :-s

You rated them 7 so they couldnt have been that bad. :wink:

I did rate them a 7. But then the rocker started to leak. I tried to tighten them down and stripped the thread!
