After being mapped at another place before on a few occasions and speaking to people about Ryan I decided to give him a call and have him tune my car since I have made some modifications.
Id like to say firstly that Ryan is the best person I have dealt with when having my engine mapped, he answers every question and constantly lets you know whats going on, very professional and I recommend him to everyone.
The engine produced the following @ 1.4bar
378.6bhp - wheels @ 7506rpm
470.2bhp - engine @ 7670rpm
329.9lbft @ 5633rpm
He is going to have another session with the car to take it up to 1.8 or maybe 2.0bar depending what power it makes, I dont want to stress the block too much.
Really pleased with the results, Ill sort some pics and dyno graph out in the next few days.
Thanks
Graeme

what a machine, nice one

Nice one Graeme
Are you still running the ATS TD06? What mods?
I've more or less finished my road tune for my GSC S1 cams. I'm just awaiting a progressive controller for my alcohol injection kit from Devil's own. Once that's installed and tuned in I'll be taking my car to the dyno to finish the map off and get a final power result too

nice result !
how does it feel on the road now ?
hehe = you'll be looking at over 500 fly when you add the extra boost.

It feels really good on the road, power delivery couldnt be any better.
It should be well into the 500s with the boost up.. hopefully!
Engine and setup all done by myself
Built block 2.0 litre still
272/264 cams
GT3076R, 38mm wastegate
custom fuel system 1000cc top feeds
os giken twin disc clutch
rmr intake manifold
stock ignition
usual other stuff

on mine he only had 850cc injectors to play with, sounds like there could be a whole lot more to come from your setup !
have fun out there.
think it's great how you've managed to suss out how to build a good engine. if i built an engine it'd either make 1hp or seize up straight away !

just wondering what your estimated flywheel figure was when you got 425@hubs and what boost was that run?

WHAT !
hell, it seems like it was only a few weeks ago i was reading your threads on the US OC when you were building it up. must of been longer ago than i realised. LOL.

Ryan keeps getting lucky pressing these buttons on his laptop !
TOTB 2010 Rwd top speed, 1/4 and shootout winner.
10.7@142 on R888 street tyres, 10.3@134mph on slicks,
9's on slicks to come, with a clean full throttle pass! Goal of 0-150mph in a 1/4 of a mile....

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Mapped By Ryan.G Today - 470bhp - NOW WITH PICS PAGE 2
I built the engine august 2006 lol time flies doesnt it!
I did 425rwhp on thors dyno, but if you look at the graph I picked up 50rwhp in the last 500rpm because my fuel system was running really lean.
I was never happy with the tune, not because of the way thor mapped it but because of the fuel system not keeping up, so i always ran low boost which was about 340rwhp. I never dare run the higher boost setting incase the cylinder pressures in the high lean rpm cracked the block.
Ryans tune is much safer and much more to my liking than the previous map, I do feel alot safer going full throttle than I ever did before.
I have gone over the top on this fuel system, it could easily flow for over 800hp, we have the fuel pressure lower than normal and the duty cycle is nice and low this time.
I am aiming for anything between 400-500rwhp usable on a daily basis.

If you worked it out with say a 18% loss it would be 518hp.
However I do believe thors dyno reads higher than the one I have just been on which was a Dastek dyno. And the car is faster than it was before.

You including oversize valves in the usual other stuff bracket? What does your fuel system consist of other than the 1000cc injectors? Good numbers at low boost your showing there aswell Graeme You've gotta be chuffed with that especially seen as you've built it with your very own hands
Ryan seems to be able to achieve impressive numbers from our motors, think i'll be giving him a call next time im needing mine done
Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Mapped By Ryan.G Today - 470bhp - NOW WITH PICS PAGE 2
Ryan is indeed a top bloke.
Met him for the first time on Monday this week to map my newly installed Link G3.
I'm nowhere near the power you're getting ("only" 294lbs/ft, 316 BHP here), but I'm mega happy with how he's set my mapping up. Throttle response is awesome, he's transformed my car and its mechanical timing faults with some random number magic Feels like a complete new engine now.
He's very informative, answers any questions (however stupid they may seem hehe, soz for being a nuub Ryan!) and will look after your engine as a first priority.
Can't wait for the next upgrade (840cc injectors) and future mapping sessions with him.
Steve.
