[Mk2] [Generic] 1990 Import shock mounts

Post by zooloo »

Does anyone know if the front shock mounts from a uk spec car will fit an import?

I have a 1990 rev1 and have been told that, because it's an import they don't list the parts, a bit stuck on what to do next.

As far as I know all revisions suspension is interchangeable. Assume therefore that top mounts are the same. If I were you though I'd check with somebody like Rogue come Mon before ordering.

As long as they are from the same year they should interchange. Im sure the 93+ cars had a different top mount.

On the subject of the rebuildable struts its not really worth the hassle. A brand new strut from Toyota is only around 60 quid.
