[Mk2] [Turbo] HKS GT2835 Turbo

Anyone on here got one or herd anyhting about this turbo as i might be getting an mr2 with one on....are they any good and what horsepower are they good for?

sure that codes correct, I run a GT2860RS on my mx5, the 60 is the A/R I can't imagine it being a smaller figure on an MR2. The 28 is the size of the housing.

HKS name there turbo's differently than Garrett.

Don't they just re-manufacture turbos already on the market such as Garretts?

This one sounds like its based on a GT28, cartridge bearing (G) T= foot print/ Flange, 28 Size of exhaust housing?

Bit of a naming co-insidence other wise, i could of course be completely wrong?

yeah, but their turbo with similar performance to a Garrett 3071 (or 3076 i forgoet which), is called a 3037 LOL

Cheers buddy just found out its the R one which is rated at 420bhp which is not bad i guess.
