Tatton Park Classic Car Show, 31st May, MK1 Club Stand

Sad to hear we havent been able to organise anything surrounding Tatton - I am a lurker on this forum, but been to many many Tatton Park shows - and was looking forward to this.

I will come and say Hi anyway to the people on the DC stand - doing it this way though doesnt interest me.

Hi Wayne. Get yourself to an area meeting at some point before the next show and help us organise the Summer one.

The above goes for everyone in the North West MR2 MK1 Club really. It would be good to have a large turnout at, say the June meeting so we all know what is happening with the car shows and events we attend. There should be no reason that next year at Tatton we couldn't have thirty plus cars like in previous years. (Anyone remember the NE guys and gals coming down?).

I'll see you all in June at the Wiggin Tree then.
(I'll post a reminder nearer the date).

Hi Stuart,

The monthly meet is usually the second Sunday of the month. Due to members commitments (mine included) numbers have been falling recently. I can't make this weekends meeting for example as I'm off to Cadwell to watch the MR2 racing...

I'm going to try to coax as many people out as possible for the June meeting though on the 8th. We usually arrive at about 12.30 and go inside for a chat. I'm going to try to get a run out arranged next time around the area which is always good fun.

Tatton:
I received an email asking if I was interested and expressed an interest but have since heard no more. My car will be back on the road come Tatton and would like to be on the stand.

Meets:
The Wiggin tree is a lovely pub in loveley surroundings that I have enjoyed all to myself the last couple of times! Does anyone come along still or have been there at the wrong times/days???? The car park is a tad lonely and windy when you are on your own!

Sure Si - send me the info on the meeting, my memory isnt good so an e-mail a few days before is superb, I will pop up.

Are you organising things for the NW Mk1 Club now?

No problems with assisting with the next Tatton either - its literally 2 mins from my house, so its ideal for me!

We have been kindly given 10 tickets to have a MK1 Club area on the DC stand. John Redmond has sent me his list of people wanting tickets, so now i can announce the lucky few:

I need you all the put 'confirmed' by your names, plus 'sat/sun' or 'sat only' or 'sun only', so i can try to allocate passes to more people (ie the reserves)(copy and paste list)

When you update your name on the list please pm me your full name & address so i can post out the tickets and info.
