sure i read some where that a member can make leather gaitors for gear change was wondering can can they redo the gear change knob as well

She does gear gaiters. I'm not sure if she does Mk1 gear knobs as well (she does the Mk2 ones) - it'd be worth sending her a PM and asking... (there's a link to do this in her profile)

I had my first replacement gaitor off her on me last MK1...top notch and for a fair price...I think she is selling them on ebay for about 15quid delivered. Just do a search on parts..string txt "MK1 MR2" normally returns everything you will ever need to find on there for spares...

Agreed. I've seen one of the eBay ones, and have one of Rhon's - and I think I've got the right one...
