rev 3 jap import, how easy is this gonna be to get regassed as its just fuffin warm air around, and if (fingers crossed) this weather keeps up, im gonna need some proper cooling!

Rev3 uses the standard gas (R134a IIRC) so you should be fine - assuming that nothing else is wrong (ie if it hasn't been used for a while then the compressor might be seized).

ah nice one! kwik fit alright to do it or are there much cheaper alternatives? they charge about £45 from what ive read

i wouldnt take my car to kwik fit for tyres, never mind the air con system

Afraid thats the going rate really, about £50. Sometimes you might see places doing it for 1/2 price though. You can also buy cans of it from Halfrauds i've heard, but i wouldnt go that route unless you really know what you're doing.
As said, if it hasn't been used for a while then expect either the compressor to be seized or the seals to be perished (which are kept lubricated by the gas) in which case if you just re-fill it, it'll empty out again. You can ask them to do a leak test where they put some dye in to find leaks. :thumleft:
