[Mk2] [Generic] has anyone ever fitted 2 seats and a drivers seat in a mr2.
hi i need to collect a pair of mr2 seats tomorrow and only have the choice of a new mini or my mr2. has anyone ever removed the pasenger seat and been able to fit in two seats in the space (one of top/infont of the other)?

should be possible, set them so they are laying flat and put the headrests in the boot and maybe the rails if they come off?

I would've said L7 seemed the most logical (plus less chance of seat rail of top one damaging bottom seat.)

Take out the passenger seat then as you said they will go in flat on top of each other Headrests removed will be aesier

They are recaro speeds so cant remove head rest but dont have the seat rails on them, hopefully they will fit as its a nearly 2 hour drive.
Its a Tin top so cant remove a t bar to gain space and also have a role cage to fit them round.
Fingers crossed.

Rollcages on a road going mr2 are terrible. I had one in mine and it did my head in.
I wouldnt of liked to have a crash in it either..... Way to close to my head.

Si it didnt do your head in but it could have done !
