part no.s are on metal plates tack welded on

Mine doesn't have one either, the model is stamped on the silencer somewhere, but there's nothing on the tailpipes :D

bought my Magnex 6 months ago and the badges are aliminium stick on, these were supplied in the parts bag giving you the choice of whether to put them on or not....


personally I like em!!

Thanks for that Brin :) and to everyone for the replies and pictures. I've think I'm going to go for the Magnex (basically because of the slightly smaller tips) so does anyone know the cheapest place to buy one?

Evolution R on ebay are doing them for £389 with free delivery and I think this is the same price as Jap Spec Performance but does anyone know if I can get one cheaper :wink:

Bought my old mongoose system in 2001 - from Fensport - paid more than the prices i'm seeing on here.

I had the bracket (hanging bracket) go on mine, it pushed into the backbox through a weak weld, it's all fixed up now (stronger than originally) and I know mongoose tweaked the system (flexipipe) after I bought mine so probably sorted that out too.

As for noise, a low/deep subtle-ish rumble that turns into a growl (mine's fitted on the SC though so probably different sounds). Very nice sound.
