[Mk2] [Turbo] T66 Ball bearing

Post by b8ucks »

Thinking of buying a T66 ball bearing (turbo technics) that has come my way. Has anyone got any experience with this turbo?
It apparently starts spooling at 3.5k and is good for 2bar.

How does this turbo compare up to the gt35r for lag and performance?

I'd like to be seeing somewhere near 500rwhp

Thanks guys, Nik

My friends trust T67 at 1.4BAR makes 430 ish at the hubs if i remember, so the T66 should make 500WHP around the 2BAR mark.

The GT35R is a much newer design, and would spool in a similar time, have a look at lockys96 thread on his GT35R and see what you think.

Out of the 2 i would recommend a GT35R, would make more power at the top end (good for 700RWHP+)

700whp GT35R show me one dyno plot of this. The T66 can get u to 700whp, however the GT35R is a better 600whp turbo (much better than the T66) it will prob max out to about 660whp with a .82ar
