Yeah that's fine
There's a couple of ways of doing it, the way you've done or simply unplugging the electrical connector to the VSV. I actually prefer the way you've done it but it's personal preference.
You might want to make sure the second half of the hose that you've cut and plugged is also plugged. I seem to recall that the VSV system finally leads back into the intake, so you don't want unfiltered air going into the engine. Worth doing even if it's for peace of mind

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Installing Blitz SBC ID III Spec-R, VSV disconnected or not??
I just made an test drive, but it doesn't work.
I blocked both ends, like at the photo (form the acurator to the VSC).
When i adjust the boost at 0,8bar or 0.9bar the car doesn't goes above 0.6bar.
When i unblock the lines and connect the VSV again the boost goes to 1.0bar and stays their while accelerating. It also boost to 1.0bar when i put my boostcontroller on 0.6bar.
It doesn't respons on my settings.
I really don't understand that?!?!?
Can anybody help me???
Here some pictures how it is installed:
The blue tube goes from the solenoid "OUT" to the acurator an de black tube goes from the Turbo to the solenoid "IN"

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Installing Blitz SBC ID III Spec-R, VSV disconnected or not??
The problem is solved.
On of the connectors was pushed away an it didn't make contact.
The solenoid didn't get power supply.
I made it and now the boostcontroller works!!!!
