[Mk2] [NA] induction kit mk2 n/a
hi guys been lookng on fleabay for an induction kiit for my mk2 n/a some claim to improve bhp by 8-15 bhp that cant be right can it id of thought 1-3bhp for
decent kit ie k&n/apexi

Re: [Mk2] [NA] induction kit mk2 n/a
gains are minimal if anything! but if you do get an induction kit get a good brand one! and dont expect any difference except in noise tbh
Re: [Mk2] [NA] induction kit mk2 n/a
You wont see any bhp gains at all
- the induction noise is nice and it may smooth acceleration but actual power gains are nil.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] induction kit mk2 n/a
i have an apexi on mine and agree no real gains in power, throttle response seemed better and when i got my blueflame and decat that was a big difference all came together then very impressed

Dont believe the eBay hype
.
.
.
but dont discount them althogether.
RR tests on the kits have proved power gains.
For example, the Civic Type R K&N Typhoon give 10.4hp on the rolling road, so they do work.
But 3bhp is usually the most to expect on the MR2, which on the road, is not really noticeable.
However they do sound GREAT! And if fitted along with a decent exhaust like the new Mongoose, then you will have a much easier breathing engine which will feel more responsive and fun to drive!
